The Summernationals was an event that NHRA started back in 1970 at York US 30 Dragway and then moved to Old Bridge Township Raceway in Englishtown, NJ 1971 to 1992, 2013 - 2017. The Summernationals name was used for the Topeka event from 2002 - 2012.
The event would go on to become one of the biggest events on the NHRA tour until 2018 when Englishtown shutdown. Over the years the event featured some of the biggest moments in drag racing with the 1986 Don Garlits Blowover, Jungle Jim won his only NHRA National event at the 1975 Summernationals.
