The NHRA US Nationals, known as the Big Go, started out as the "Nationals" back in 1955 in Great Bend, KS and remained there until 1957. In 1958 the event moved to Oklahoma, OK, then moved to Detroit, MI for 1959 & 1960. NHRA then moved the event to Indianapolis Raceway Park in 1961 and that is where is has remained to this day. The event is the biggest one on the tour and remains the one that every racer wants to win!
